WORLD CUP RACES*
*The US may send six athletes to each World Cup race, and athletes entered will be determined according to their ITU Ranking (overall points ranking, which factors in previous years’ results) by the race entry deadline in the weeks preceding the race. Margie will submit her interest to the USA Triathlon elite athlete coordinator for several (if not all) of the World Cup races listed above, but cannot expect to gain entry into any race until she has achieved a solid top six US ranking. This year, many more US pros will be seeking World Cup points to jockey for position for the 2008 Olympics, making entry into any World Cup race more sought-after than in previous years.
