Thank you for your interest in being a part of TEAMSPIRIT! This is a community of support for Margie Shapiro as a representative of the United States in International Olympic Distance Triathlon racing and in her quest to participate in the 2008 Olympic Games.

Once you sign up as a TEAMPSPIRIT member, no matter the contribution, you become a vital member of a community of support that will continue through the year with online updates, newsletters, TEAMSPIRIT events and more.

ALL CHERISHED TEAMSPIRIT SUPPORTERS WILL RECEIVE:

QUARTERLY TEAMSPIRIT NEWSLETTER: The TEAMSPIRIT team will be distributing an electronic newsletter quarterly that will include; special contributions and race reports from Margie Shapiro; recognition of our growing support of both individual and corporate sponsors; and articles and updates relative to the sports community at large.

TEAMSPIRIT EVENT INVITATIONS: Currently we plan to have a TEAMSPIRIT event every 3 to 4 months to keep the community connected, grow our efforts and continue to see first hand how Margie’s hard work and our support are progressing.

EMAIL UPDATES: All TEAMSPIRIT members will be included in email notices of special events, race resultsand other important triathlon news. You will be able to opt out of such updates at any time.

SPIRIT MEMBER LEVEL:  Donation Minimum of $40.00

BRONZE MEDAL MEMBER:  Donation Minimum of $100.00

Our thanks to the Greater Washington Sports Alliance for providing the tax-deductible online donation avenue on behalf of TEAMSPIRIT. The Greater Washington Sports Alliance is a tax exempt organization under IRS Section 501 C (3). Your contribution is tax deductible (tax ID #20-1089059).

You will be asked to provide your size and color option for your donation specified t-shirt when completing the donation process.

A receipt for your tax-deductible online donation will be automatically generated and sent to the email address provided. Receipts for mailed in donations will arrive by mail within a two week period.

For all Spirit and Medal Level Memberships, the selected T-shirts will be sent to the mailing address provided. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:
All check donations, made payable to GWSAF (Greater Washington Sports Alliance Foundation), are to be mailed with the printed and completed TEAMSPIRIT Member Form to the TEAMSPIRIT address noted above.

All online credit card payments will be processed through the Veri-Sign secured Greater Washington Sports Alliance Foundation online payment processing system.
